Uber taxi
|
I signed up to the app and within 3 fucking minutes I had a car at my front door.
£26.22 from brick lane to chadwell Heath what a bargain I don't know the normal cab fare for that or even a black taxi.
Is this the end of black taxis? The rats of London maybe a thing of the past?
Checking the app now and I have 5 cars within waiting time of 2 minutes to my house
WOW!

Yawn the boring pedant is still trying to pick apart every word written whilst demanding proof. If it such an issue n your sad little life I will leave out the word " cars"
Last time I checked Uber has lost it's London licence on the grounds of "PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY" and is only allowed to continue operating whilst it appeals. Same situation in many other cities around the globe. Also they do not follow employment regulations and do not pay UK tax but the taxpayer is subsiding cheap fares and drivers pay.
You carry on defending them though. Funny how people that would normally be up in arms about this sort of thing are not bothered because it means they would have to pay more for their fares. Hypocritical wankers to a man!

No it wasn’t Rylan, try again. Try not conflation what you said with banning, you have claimed that cars (that’s CARS) do not crash as often as Uber.
So, what facts do you have to back up this claim;
Yep cars, trains, plans etc... do crash, well.done for pointing that out. Problem is not as often and ridiculously as Uber. Then there's the assaults etc..

Have a look at the pictures in this article and see the identifier in back window of the cab!

Brentford, Uber still operating in London last time I checked and in many other cities around the world.
Ritchie, given you are going by pictures you have seen then I would suggest your factamondo has no basis. My pal is dealing with the claim for the insurance company and it is 100% London cab. Do you want the poor drivers badge number?
Baseless arguments again. Like I said let's not bring the old uninsured, unlicensed, can't drive bullshit to make your point. There are far many more accidents related to black cabs than Uber drivers thus far.

If they use Google maps, it shows realtime traffic and will divert you if the traffic bad - they don't need to rely on their knowlwedge. And who's to say that because they know another route it's going to be any better than where the accident is?

Er Uber have lost their licence in London and in many places around the globe.l due to safety concerns. They have also been found to be breaking employment law and lost their appeal. Let me guess, you think all those people in that article are lying and TFL and the courts are wrong?

Doesn't matter who the cab is registered to, as it can be rented to anyone, it had Luton plates on the back (I've seen the photos) and it had no identifiers in the front and back windows something that London cabs must have. Check any pic of the incident for yourself, unfortunately can't put pics on here otherwise I would do.

Dangerous accidents are shown in photos uploaded under the hashtag, which users claim involve Uber drivers Uber denied all of the incidents uploaded under the hashtag involved their drivers and claimed it is used by detractors to make false claims.
They confirmed a number of the photos showed Uber cars, but claimed they were involved two-car collisions where the Uber driver was not at fault.
An Uber spokesman added: “Sadly Twitter is full of totally false claims made by black cab drivers and others against Uber. A large number of claims which are made on Twitter have been investigated and found to have nothing to do with Uber at all. There are more than one million Uber trips a week in London alone and thankfully accidents are incredibly rare. Brentford you can’t say that hat Uber drivers hav more accidents that black cabs when you do not know the facts. Pointless throwaway comment to suit your argument. I could give you lists of black cab related incidents.
You rightly pointed out that they all have accidents and that is my point. They are accidents and not deliberate so another pointless argument you are using against Uber.
